Stephen White, M.D.
Dr. Stephen White brings nearly 30 years of orthopedic experience to Three Rivers Family Medicine and Three Rivers Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and specializes in general orthopedics, with advanced expertise in joint replacement, trauma care, and sports medicine.
Dr. White earned his medical degree from the University of Utah and completed his residency at the University of Kansas. After practicing for 17 years in Texas and Oklahoma, he was excited to return to small-town medicine, where he can care for the community he lives in.
He has led the development of orthopedic trauma programs and built a center of excellence in joint replacement, focusing on techniques that reduce recovery time and surgical complications. He regularly trains other surgeons and stays current with the latest advancements through specialized courses.
Dr. White also pioneered minimally invasive techniques, such as percutaneous fracture repair and anterior hip replacement, and has years of experience with procedures like ACL reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopy, and carpal tunnel surgery.
Despite his surgical skill, Dr. White emphasizes conservative treatment and patient education. He believes in a holistic approach to healing — mind, body, and spirit — and tailors every treatment plan to each patient’s unique needs.
Dr. White lives in the Omak area with his wife and daughter.
